Euracon

 

EURACON is a non-profit Association for Communications & Networking.

The aims of the European Association for Communications & Networking are to:

  • Organise and endorse European Conferences, European workshops, and all associated events in the field of Communications and Networking (hereinafter, C&N);
  • Support European Schools, as well as M.Sc. & PhD programmes on C&N;
  • Create or endorse (on-line) scientific publications (books, periodicals) with the highest scientific standards in C&N
  • Create a European web portal about research and education in C&N based also on the former European ViCe-WiCom (Virtual Centre of Excellence in Wireless Communications);
  • Circulate and exchange information among European scientists and engineers in C&N, and promoting standardisation;
  • Facilitate contacts between, on the one hand, the academic and scientific milieu and, on the other hand, industry, services and Institutions at the European level in C&N;
  • Promote European research on C&N;
  • Promote and harmonize co-operation across national C&N communities and Societies;
  • Support the EC in the definition of the research agenda in C&N;
  • Coordinate and manage large-scale C&N research and formation initiatives.

 

Membership


The members of the Association are:
  • the founder members;
  • ordinary members: the annual registration fee is 40 euros*, which can be paid as a percentage of fees in meetings organised by EURACON;
  • student members: the annual registration fee is 10 euros* and must provide proof of their student status;
  • honorary members; they are identified and elected by the DA.

Step 1 - If you are NOT registered on the Euracon website

Firstly please register your profile HERE. If you are already registered, you can skip this step.

 

Step 2

Pay the association fee through bank transfer or PayPal*.

Ordinary members: 40 euros

Student members: 10 euros

* 4.65% + 0.35 EUR transaction fee is included if you use PayPal

Once completed the transfer, send an email to  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  with subject "EURACON bank transfer - Membership", and include in the body of the email the Reference you provided in the bank transfer and the details for addressing the invoice (Name, Last Name, Institution, Address, ...).

 

  • On-line payment

Euracon accepts PayPal payments adding 4.65% + 0.35 EUR transaction fee.
Send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with subject "EURACON online payment - Membership " and include in the body of the email the details for addressing the invoice (Name, Last Name, Institution, Address, ...).
You will then receive and email from PayPal including the link to the online payment.

Note: PayPal accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or PayPal account payments. A PayPal account is not required for online credit card payments (though you are welcome to use one) nor are you required to create an account to complete the process.

Liaisons

The Association aims at facilitating contacts between academia, industry, services and Institutions at the European level in Communications & Networking; therefore, its members act as liaisons towards external institutions.
