Delegates Assembly

The Delegates Assembly (DA) is the sovereign power of the Association.

The DA is formed by Delegates belonging to four different categories:

  • the Founder Members;
  • the Elected Regional Delegates (ERDs);
  • the Representative Persons of the Associated Institutions (AI);
  • the Additional Delegates (ADs).

 

The ERDs are representative of geographical European and non-European regions:

  • France, Monaco
  • Germany
  • Italy, San Marino, Vatican City
  • United Kingdom, Ireland, Gibraltar, Malta
  • Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg
  • Iceland, Norway, Sweden
  • Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland
  • Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova
  • Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania
  • Croatia, Cyprus, Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovna, Albania, Greece, Israel, Fyr Macedonia Turkey
  • Russia, Belarus
  • Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland
  • Spain, Portugal, Andorra
  • North America (USA and Canada)
  • South and Central America
  • Middle East and Africa
  • East-Pacific

 

The AIs are institutions that support the Association with financial contribution and shall undergo the approval of the DA. Different levels of sponsorships (Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze) are foreseen depending on the amount of the financial contribution. Benefits for AIcomprise, according to the level of sponsorship:

  • Special visibility and/or discounts in the prices of exhibition space at EURACON events;
  • Access to EURACON Portal with different levels of priority for different sponsor levels;
  • Preferential partnership in EURACON research initiatives;
  • Premium access to facilities possibly owned by EURACON.

 

The ADs may be representative of associated institutions, and sponsors of recognized relevance to the Association.

 

The following decisions are reserved for the competence of the DA:

  • General policy, including financial aspects, of the Association;
  • Approvals of the Internal Rules of the Association
  • Admittance of Members and Associated Institutions;
  • Exclusion or suspension of Members and Associated Institutions;
  • Amendments to the Statute of the Association;
  • The winding-up of the Association;
  • Election and removal of Directors;
  • Approval of the Board of Directors 's report (including balance sheet, accounts and budget).
